A BRILLIANT young England fan who went viral for her celebrations after the Lionesses’ semi-final win has been given a ticket to go to the final.
Tess, 8, was spotted doing an adorable dance in the crowd after Sarina Wiegman’s side beat Sweden 4-0 to book their place at Wembley on Sunday.
She pumped her fist up in the air as Sweet Caroline rung out around Bramall Lane, totally unaware she was being broadcast around the country to over nine million viewers live on the BBC.
Tess revealed that she did not have a ticket for the final but would love to go.
She was later interviewed by Gabby Logan on the BBC during the half-time break in Germany’s semi-final with France.
The host revealed to the young girl that they were going to give her two tickets to the final.
Tess was beside herself with excitement and can be seen grabbing her head and covering her mouth as she reacted to the news.
Revealing the surprise, Logan said: “I know you would really love to be [at Wembley] watching it. How about being in the stadium with us?
“Because I’ve got a couple of tickets and I would love from the BBC and everyone here to give them to you and you can bring someone with you.”
Hardly able to speak at times, Tess did manage to blurt out “thank you!” before the camera cut away from the young England fan.
It’s the latest twist in a crazy 24 hours for the eight-year-old after TV cameras caught her celebrating at full-time during the England win.
Reacting to the clip going viral, Tess said: “It’s crazy! I didn’t know I was being filmed.
“Like normally they look at the big screen, and they’re like I’m on telly! I was in the moment.”
She later added: “It was amazing. I didn’t know I was on TV until my mum got lots of text messages from people. I was just dancing and enjoying myself.
“I was singing Sweet Caroline and then my mum started getting messages. It’s really weird to be on TV, but it feels amazing.”
Susan then added: “We were slightly shocked when she came on the screen, I must say.
“Grandad and I were watching at home and trying to listen to the manager because it was quite difficult to hear her amid the crowd.
“Then it panned to Tess and I think I screamed.”
Tess had been asked whether she would be attending the final on Sunday – where England will play Germany after they overcame France.
To which she replied: “I haven’t got tickets. I went to Man U for the first match against Austria. It would be really nice to go.”
Tess said she is convinced the Lionesses will do enough to lift the trophy.
“I have a lot of faith in them to win,” she said. “I feel like they have a big chance of beating either of them.
“We haven’t got tickets but I would love to go. It was the best football match I’ve been to so far.”
